What will happen to my Options contract on expiry?

Options contracts for In-the-Money long calls will be exercised on expiry if you have sufficient buying power. However, the contract will be liquidated if you do not have enough buying power.

For In-the-Money long put options contracts, it will be exercised on expiry if you have sufficient underlying shares.

For all Out-the-Money Options contracts, it will expire on the stated expiry date regardless.
