Why did my request to link my bank account fail?

Requests to link a bank account may fail for various reasons including:


o InValid Document Type – the document provided is not an acceptable type

o Name Matching – the name you provided and the name on the bank statement do not match.

o Bank Account Number – the bank account number you typed in and the bank account number on the document you provided do not match.

o Swift code – you provided the incorrect swift code for your bank account

o Currency – you chose the wrong currency for the withdrawal. Note that it must be USD.

o Date of document – the document provided should be no older than 6 months.

o Some bank accounts will not be accepted for withdrawals, namely:

o Tyme Bank

o African Bank

o Bidvest

o Old Mutual

o Grindrod

o Third party payment platforms

o Discovery unless the account is a multi currency USD account.

o FNB Easy Zero Accounts
